One hundred and forty years separate this room from a workshop in Mannheim; one hundred separate it from the first motorcars on Qasr el-Nil. X8 Luxury Automotive gathers that long line under one roof in New Cairo — part gallery, part marque — where the finest motorcars are shown as what they have become: objects of art.
The seven portraits before this one are the lineage. This building is the eighth. To walk its floor is to stand inside the story of the automobile at the moment it comes home — and to be welcomed, personally, into what happens next.
بعد مئةٍ وأربعين عامًا من مانهايم، وقرنٍ كاملٍ من أوّل سيارةٍ سارت في شوارع القاهرة، تعود الحكاية إلى موطنها. النادر والرفيع والاستثنائي يصل إلى هنا، إلى إكس إيت للسيارات الفاخرة، القاهرة الجديدة.
مئةٌ وأربعون عامًا تفصل هذه القاعة عن ورشةٍ في مانهايم، ومئةٌ تفصلها عن أوّل سياراتٍ على قصر النيل. تجمع إكس إيت للسيارات الفاخرة ذلك الخطّ الطويل تحت سقفٍ واحد في القاهرة الجديدة ـ صالةَ عرضٍ ومعرضَ فنٍّ ـ حيث تُعرض أرقى السيارات بما صارت إليه: تُحفًا فنية.
البورتريهات السبعة التي تسبق هذا هي النسب، وهذا المبنى هو الثامن. أن تطأ أرضه هو أن تقف داخل حكاية السيارة في لحظة عودتها إلى موطنها، وأن تُستقبَل، شخصيًّا، في ما هو آتٍ.
